Heavy Rains, Hail Falls On Oahu
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood watch for Oahu after heavy rains poured onto Central and Leeward Oahu Wednesday.
In Waipahu, forecasters said 1/2-inch hail fell for a short period.
Conditions are very unstable and while no widespread heavy rain is expected, daytime heating of the land is causing showers and thunderstorms to pop up over several islands this afternoon, mainly Central and Leeward Oahu.
