今日はハロウィンですね！

アロハ英会話でも

「Trick or Treat!」

をやっていますので、

お菓子をもらいに遊びに来てくださいね：）

今年は「ジャックランタン」メイキング＝

「お化けカボチャ」作りのワークショップをやったり、

レッスンでも生徒さんと、

いっっっぱい色んな顔のジャックランタンを作りました！！！

小さいお子さんでもすごく上手に作ることができてびっくりでした。

楽しんでもらえてよかったです〜〜〜

新聞やラジオでも紹介されて、大好評でした。

来年もやりますので、楽しみにしていてくださいね。

Friday Night Jack

Here's 2 of my star students hard at work. They're making Jack-o-Lanterns all by themselves! Don't forget tomorrow and Sunday you can make your very own Jack-o-Lantern at the office! We've got lots of pumpkins so come on up:)

Here we go~! Ready for our Jack-o-Lantern workshop this weekend! Yes I know the color is off...but the flower guy said it's "antique". At least one of them is orange. They came in all shapes and sizes. Hey look, there's even a funny green one:)

リボンレイ＆キルトワークショップ

あ〜〜〜楽しかったです！

本日ハワイアンクラフトワークショップご参加くださった皆さんありがとうございました〜。

わたくし、、、リボンレイが３つも途中なのに、、、ついに！！！キルトデビュー:):)してしまいました〜〜。嗚呼ちくちく。。。肩こり覚悟の細かい作業大好き！キミせんせい〜マンツーマンで（恐縮です）優しく教えてくださり、ありがとうございます。タマミせんせーーい！！！途中のリボンレイ、がんばって仕上げます！

来月は11月18日（水）です。（あっという間なんですよね、これが）

Private Beach!

Well, not really... There is a little mini beach inside of "Flat Island" which is off Lanikai Beach. The island is really close. You can actually swim(or in my case, kayak) there. Just a little spot you might wanna check out next time you go to Hawaii. Aloha~!

Also, there are other small islands off Lanikai but they were too far for me;P

Did you know...they grow coffee on Oahu on the North Shore! I've always seen it driving by but i never knew they sell it now. Right on! Go Oahu!

BTW, I'm serving North Shore coffee now but it's running out so hurry in! A~~loha!

ハロウィンイベント 吉祥寺

よくみかけるこのハロウィンのかぼちゃ。

英語では「JACK O' LANTERN」といって、毎年ハロウィンの時期には、どこの家庭でも作ります！大きなかぼちゃの中身をくり抜いて、目と鼻と口を切り抜いて、中にロウソクを入れて：)お庭や玄関に飾ります。

アロハ英会話でも毎年ノエル先生が力作を披露してくれていますが、今年はみんなで作ろう！ということでワークショップを開催します。（もちろん英語です！）

英会話のミニレッスンも兼ねて、ご家族＆ご兄弟＆お友達で参加しませんか？

楽しいワークショップになること間違いなしです。

 

10月24日（土）＆25日（日）11:00~/15:00~

参加費は材料費込み、かぼちゃ1コにつき￥3,000（ご家族で1コor兄弟で1コでもOK!)

ご無沙汰しています。みなさまお元気ですか〜？今日は台風で大変な1日でしたね。

さて、今月から[毎月第三水曜日] アロハ英会話にて、ハワイアンクラフトワークショップを開催することになりました！

今月は10/21（水）15：00〜18：00 わたしも大好きな「リボンレイ」と、以前からずっと挑戦したかった「ハワイアンキルト」の夢のコラボワークショップです：）どっちにするか迷っちゃいます！！！

「リボンレイ」の先生はお馴染み、たまみ先生。写真みたいなステキなレイが作れちゃいます♪「ハワイアンキルト」は、ベテラン、キミ先生。みんなで楽しくおしゃべりしながら、まったり＆ちくちくしませんか〜？？

参加費は￥1,500（コーヒー付き！）

キット代別途　￥2,500〜色々ご用意しています。

 どんなのが作りたいかお気軽に相談してくださいね！

持ち物は、お裁縫道具（針、糸切りばさみ）ボールペン、メジャー。
