One point English lesson (prefixes)

A prefix (affix) is a word, or letter(s) placed at the beginning of another word (a base word)
to adjust or qualify its usage or meaning.
Todays prefix:
re-
For Example:
reuse = use again
replay = play again
restart = start again
rebuild = build again
There are many different types of prefixes used for different purposes.
"re-tail" is not an example of a prefix.

Macaroni?

ALOHA! Thank you Emiko for the delicious macaroon(is that how you spell it?) I actually thought they were the same as meringue...I guess not:P

I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Thank you to all of our students for your hard work and kindness. This is our tree in the office... I bought it from IKEA a few weeks ago. I bought a tree from IKEA last year too, but this years tree is much smaller:( Last one was almost double the size! Boooo! Oh well, better luck next year!


...yes, it's a real tree:)

Hawaiian Judo in Mitaka


This past Sunday, 4 Judoka from Hawaii came to Matsume Judo Juku to train and compete in a tournament. It was really fun! 2 of them won their divisions! WOW! I was so suprised and happy to know that Hawaii Judo is still going strong. Congratulations guys!

Something "fishy"
